What’s included in my rate?
All of our student rooms come with a private ensuite bathroom, including shower and toilet; a fridge, AC, WiFi & Wired internet. Fully furnished elements of our rooms include an Auping orthopedic bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, shelves, cork board, bed lamps and bed dividers. If you are in a single room – you get all this for yourself. And if you are in a deluxe room – you get espresso maker, TV and a turbo hair dryer as well!
Can my friends and family visit?
Yes, yes and yes! Your friends and family can visit you an time within the premises of the building. If you’d like to have your friend stay over (or “a friend” 😎) please make sure you register them at the reception first. (maximum 2 nights of cuddling). If you want to invite your family to stay over, you get 2 free hotel nights if you have stayed with us for more than 6 months. Otherwise your friends and family can use a special friends and family hotel rate which is up to 50% discount! Just ask our reception team! 🙂
Do you have different rates for different universities?
We have agreements in place with some universities. Check with your school if they have a university discount arrangement that you can apply to your booking. If they don’t know anything – then check with us. If we know something – then most likely we will hook you up with a special discounted rate.
Do I need to sign a contract and pay deposit?
Yes. You’ll just need to pay a month’s rent deposit (refundable at the end of your stay) and the first month’s rent to make things official. We’ll provide you with a contract for either 6, 9 or 12 months depending on your preferences. Every now and again we will also check if you plan to prolong your stay so we can extend your contract and ensure your stay with us. Also, keep in mind that you are signing a binding contract which binds you to adhere to some house rules (no smoking, not breaking anything, keeping tidy, etc, mostly common sense good behaviour rules).
I am not sure when I am arriving?
If you are not sure when you are arriving, unfortunately you are not able to book a room. We’ll need a deposit to reserve your stay, so having at least a 90% idea of the arrival date, would be mostly helpful. IMPORTANT: please keep in mind, that if you don’t have your reservation confirmed by paying us a deposit and having an e-mail confirming that your reservations is in place, we can not guarantee a spot for you.
What facilities are there in Kitchen59?
You have access to: a shared professionally equipped kitchen with 20 seating spots. A chill area with large TV, games, couches, etc. Access to a rooftop swimming pool (this baby is seasonal 15th of May until 15th of September). Access to our rooftop bar, restaurant and all events happening there (unless they are private). Also no slippers, flip flops, tracksuits are allowed there, come on, grow up. 😉 We have underground workout area with punching bags, barbells and pull up bars and table tennis. You also get access to a laundry and ironing room. (laundry services are paid through a phone app)
