Rockwood Strategic (RKW:252p), the best-performing small companies investment trust over one, three and five years, has delivered another eye-catching investment performance.
In the six months to 30 September 2024, the fund delivered a net asset value (NAV) total return (TR) of 22.9 per cent, during which time the FTSE Aim All Share TR index fell 0.4 per cent and the FTSE Small-Cap TR index rose 13.2 per cent. Over 12 months, the fund’s NAV TR of 36.7 per cent represents 34 and 18 percentage points respectively, outperformance of its benchmarks. A three-year TR of 48.5 per cent compares to a 40.5 per cent decline in the FTSE Aim index and a 5.8 per cent reversal in the FTSE Small-Cap index, too.
