Why are Big Tech stocks still ESG stars?Published on August 28, 2024

Over the past year, there hasn’t been a great deal of movement in our list of fund managers’ favourite sustainable-themed international companies, which ranks the largest or most overweight positions from a selection of top-performing ESG funds.

That’s because from the jump, the most prominent names on the list have been the same extremely prominent names on every global equity fund. Apple (US:AAPL), Google-parent Alphabet (US:GOOG), and the pre-eminent star of ESG funds, Microsoft (US:MSFT) have all been constants, more recently joined by market-moving chipmaker Nvidia (US:NVDA).
